Since their formation in 1992, they have been at the forefront of the scene with a consistent dedication to “reviving the funk sound of 1968-72”. The band now consists of eight members. They aim to be the most sincere group dedicated to soul/funk and the fascination of the 1960s and 70s. The group has been active in the international scene, releasing a European album in 2006. He has also performed at major festivals in many countries, including the North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands and the Montreal International Jazz Festival in Canada.

The band has performed over 240 shows in 22 countries so far. In 2017, the band celebrated its 25th anniversary by producing an album for Martha High, the diva of the James Brown family, released on an Italian label, and in January 2020, the band will play music for the stage production “The Rise of Arturo Ui”, starring Tsuyoshi Kusanagi and directed by Akira Shirai.
