‘A Small World’ is a powerful mix of explosive energy and poetic images. Playing on the threshold of a dance piece and a concert, A Small World reflects on acts of communal celebration in the connection between dance and music; within actions and interactions, it searches for the places we come from, places that can be the beating heart of a body or the vibration of an instrument, places that can become a small world for everyone to feel invited into.
Together with the Jazz trio Don Kapot, the three dancers A. Anastasiadis, M. Dello Sbarba and K. King move from extroverted and playful scenes, to tender moments that lay bare the sensitivity of each person’s body. Dancing and playing together, they create a performance that welcomes the audience to share a moment of communal joy.
